How long does an epoxy floor installation take?
Most residential garages and basements are completed in 1–3 days depending on size, concrete condition and the system chosen. We'll give you a firm schedule with your quote.
How soon can I walk or drive on it?
Typically light foot traffic within about 24 hours and vehicles after several days, depending on the coating system and temperature. We'll confirm exact cure times for your floor.
Does epoxy work in Nova Scotia's climate?
Yes. With proper diamond-grind prep and the right primer and topcoat, coatings stand up to road salt, slush, freeze-thaw cycles and hot-tire pickup. Moisture testing tells us which primer your slab needs.
What's the difference between metallic, flake and quartz?
Metallic is a glossy, marbled, one-of-a-kind decorative finish. Flake is a textured, forgiving, slip-resistant finish ideal for garages. Quartz uses coloured sand aggregate for maximum durability and slip resistance in heavy-traffic or wet areas.
Which products do you use?
We install XPS (Xtreme Polishing Systems) professional-grade epoxy, flake, quartz and topcoat systems.
Is the floor slippery?
Flake and quartz floors have natural texture. For metallic or smooth floors we can add an anti-slip additive to the topcoat.
Can you coat over cracked or damaged concrete?
Yes. Cracks, spalling and pitting are repaired during prep. Badly deteriorated slabs may need extra work, which we'll note in your quote.
How much does an epoxy floor cost?
It depends on square footage, the system, and concrete condition. [Pricing guidance, e.g. 'starting at $X/sq ft', to be confirmed] Request a free quote for an exact price.
